An Israeli military official has confirmed that Iranian air strikes hit certain Israeli military sites in the occupied territories during the 12-day war, marking the first public acknowledgment that such locations were struck.
The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told Reuters on Tuesday that “very few” Israeli military sites were targeted, without providing further details about which locations were hit or the extent of damage to military infrastructure.
The official further claimed that the military sites remained functional despitebeing struck.
