“We just thought it nice to have a give-away to our women irrespective of their political, religious affiliations and other divide that they belong. If God has been very kind and saves you from many evils plans, it is natural and fundamental to remember those who stood by you. So today, we are giving APC women in Erhurun Uneme community 2 canopies and 50 plastic chairs to tell them HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND WELL-DONE. This is an opportunity to tell our women to continue to stand rigorous by the political party they belong because wherein you are known to be a woman to be counted upon, your life becomes better”.
“For women from Ayetoro, Akpama, UN, Akiosu, Ekpedo and of course my place of origin, Erhurun Uneme where my father comes from and am very grandiose about it passionately. UNEME WOMEN OYEEEEE!!!!! OYEEEEEEEE. SO let us eat, drink and be happy and when it is time we shall call names and you will pick your envelope containing your stipend. It is small but the spirit behind the gesture is worthy to relish. We shall get it bigger and bigger as we work together in the journey. Before I conclude, I will like to make a pledge which shall be redeemed very shortly for 1 motorcycle for Ehrurun APC Men to kick start the rental and transport business”.
Responding to Barr Chief Bisi’s speech, Chief Sunday Oghene, the Ikhianose 1 of Central Uneme who also doubles as Chairman APC ward 9 said, “Barr Bisi’s benevolence should be commended greatly. She had distributed about N6.5m as empowerment to the small scale business women in the community, empowered many with machines and other equipment and now this laudable programs of cash gifts, canopies and chairs. She is truly a great Uneme woman of substance who should be supported at all times”.
One of the beneficiaries who spoke on behalf of others said, “Chief Bisi is the greatest. She has given financial support to women and now again this year including canopies and chair. I think she is really not comparable to anyone in this community. Her generosity knows no limitation and by the grace of God she will be greater in leading our political journeys in this community.

Essentially, Chief Bisi Idaomi is a woman any community would be proud to have and that is why Erhurun Uneme people are very proud to behold her. Her entry into full-blown politics has sent some positive spines into our political adventures. Chief Bisi has consistently shown that she understands and knows how the game of politics is played and won. She controls two units in her community and won them outright in the last Edo governorship off-cycle election. According to reliable information gathered, she is one of the nominees for commissionership yet to be submitted to the EDHA for screening and confirmation.
We pray to God that she be ultimately selected and screened because she is very robust and positive in her quest to uplift women and the community in general.
